David started his career as a financial analyst in alternative and green energy technologies and as a Department of Energy subcontractor. He went on to spend years in consulting and as CFO of a health and wellness social services agency. He has twice started and sold consulting businesses, and most recently worked as Director of Operations for one of the 500 largest CPA firms in the US. In addition to his business experience, David has had a lifetime interest in the environment and social issues, and has held leadership positions in non-profit organizations, on both boards and executive committees.
John has held positions in corporate training, finance operations, corporate communications, digital marketing and strategy, and has a passion for fresh foods and farming.
Now at Alfrea, self-proclaimed “crazy foodie” John has found a place to combine his creativity and passion for gardening and sustainable locavore living with his digital marketing background. He could not be happier.
TIna joined Alfrea as a Intern and product champion for our sharing platform. She joins us from Stockton University where she is studying Environmental Science and will be minoring in Childhood Studies. Tina aspires to foster a bond between people, their community, and the planet; and to save the world. And she has been taking action through experience at the Stockton Sustainable Farm as well as a 16-week internship with Duke Farms through the Student Conservation Association.
John joined Alfrea as its first full-time employee after studying accounting at Stockton University and working for a mid-sized CPA firm. He manages internal initiatives such as finance, accounting, investor reporting, HR and operations, and serves as a second pair of eyes for founder David. He is efficient and provides solid insights and sound advice.
Vladimir joins Alfrea as a Creative Graphic and Web Designer. Even though he is coming from Macedonia, distanced more than 8000 kilometers from us, his designs are connecting us closer and closer. He is a Bachelor of Graphic Design, fully developed in every field of graphic and web design. He managed to make a tremendous change on our website and successfully put the pillars of our brand itself. He is the one behind every single creative detail you are now able to notice on our website and in our social media campaigns. He is Alfrea’s major contributor in regards of everything that involves digital online design and creative solutions. His work ethic and his creative process makes it look like the software he is using is his inseparable lifetime companion. The process of design is his job, hobby, sport, obsession and yes, providing striking, highly admirable designs is everything he really wants and enjoys doing.
Carlos Mario Sepúlveda Rosas
Carlos lives in Latin America. He is a self-taught designer and trained by a prestigious Australian Design company. He works as a freelancer and helps companies like Alfrea to present rich beautiful PowerPoint presentations and Brochures. He has worked with Alfrea for nearly two years and the team is consistently impressed by his beautiful creative work. Beyond working for his own clients, Carlos, likes heling other freelancers succeed as he sees these skills as a way to provide employment in developing countries. Carlos cares about his clients, his local economy and people who sometimes need a helping hand.
Caitlin is a passionate enthusiast and advocate for wildlife and the environment and enjoys living in woodlands. As a recent graduate of Stockton University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies, she joined Alfrea as a Product Champion. Her studies and background led her to recognize that when people take the simple step of growing some of their own food, using sustainable practices, it’s an important step in taking care of the environment. Why? Because everybody eats and food is the largest industry on the face of the planet. Industrial agriculture is often regarded as one of the leading causes of climate change. Caitlin will specifically focus on partnering with property managers to enable their residents gain access to raised garden beds to grow their own food. And as a previous EMT and massage therapist, she recognizes Alfrea’s mission to promote wellness through the power of fresh food is critical given the impact poor dietary habits has on people, their families and friends. She also worked with communities to promote wellness in DC while she was interning with Sierra Club. All-in-all she wants to establish a strong connection between community wellness and the environment through sustainable and organic farming practices. She loves that Alfrea has a triple bottom line focus on health impact, the environment, while building a sustainable business.
